Professional Disposition Recording
You must submit a 5–8-minute video recorded in a K-12 classroom with students present. Your professor will use the video and other work to assess your professional teaching dispositions. Begin by arranging to teach the 5E Lesson you developed to students. Record yourself (in the K-12 classroom with students present) teaching the first portion of your lesson. You do not need to record you teaching the entire lesson.

You may use a phone, laptop, or tablet to record your video. Upload the video to YouTube and save the URL. If you need help uploading your video to YouTube, do a Google search, and you will find many videos to guide you through the process.

Include the following items on this page:

  1. A written reflection that includes a brief summary of the lesson. Reflections include what worked, what did not, what you would change, and student responses to the lesson. Also, state whether or not the objectives were met. Also include, information on how students were scheduled to use the technology (i.e., Chromebook, Smartboard, computers, microscopes, stopwatches, pedometers, etc.) to ensure access and equity.  Explain your management plan for the technology used in the lesson to the students. Finally, discuss the students' responsibility in technology use.

  2. URL to your Professional Dispositions Recording.

  3. Learning-centered lesson (upload a Microsoft Word document with the 5E Lesson Plan you created)

  4. At least two K-12 student-created technology products your K-12 student created during the Elaboration phase of the lesson. If the product is online, you may include the URL to the product as the student sample.

  5. All instruments, rubrics, documents, presentations, or resources you used to teach the lesson and assist the students in achieving the desired learning outcome.
